Dealing with the Fear of Social Media Self-Promotion

A resident of Idaho, Todd Bailey studied at Brigham Young University, where he earned a master’s degree in accounting and a JD. Todd Bailey is the founder of Rise2Pro.com, which is based in Nampa, Idaho. This company works with small businesses and entrepreneurs to help build brand awareness and create effective social media marketing campaigns. One of the biggest hurdles that clients must sometimes overcome is a fear of online self-promotion.

Social media remains an incredible marketing tool since it provides an opportunity for reaching hundreds of thousands of people with the push of a few buttons. At the same time, putting information out there can leave entrepreneurs feeling vulnerable and worried about judgment or even rejection. Fear can keep people from using the tools they need to succeed, but these individuals can overcome fear by identifying its source. Some individuals may actually fear success, while others may be more focused on the possibility of failure. Naming the source of fear is the first step in overcoming it.

In the realm of marketing-based social media, entrepreneurs can overcome their fear with education. Understanding how these tools work removes much of the anxiety about creating a strategy. Rise2Pro offers a thorough social media training course that provides checklists, guides, and even templates and scripts for getting started.

He also serves as principal of Stronghold Risk Management, LLC, and Fortress Risk Management, LLC, both located in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Outside of his career, Todd Bailey pursues a diverse range of hobbies that includes attending the theater. He counts Les Miserables among his favorite musicals.

Les Miserables is a well-known Tony Award-winning musical by Alain Boublil and Claude-Michel Schönberg based on the classic novel by Victor Hugo. After launching in Providence, Rhode Island, a new production of the Les Miserables tour will continue throughout North America for two and a half years. From July 25 to August 5, 2018, the musical will be performed at The Buell Theatre in the Denver Performing Arts Complex.

Producer Cameron Mackintosh's latest production of the play will feature the popular song "I Dreamed a Dream," along with other favorites from the original score. However, new staging and scenery inspired by Victor Hugo drawings bring new life to this classic musical.
